Not pulling movie data

Not pulling movie data

Postby thelead » Fri Mar 19, 2010 11:00 pm

It allows my to fetch and select a movie. But it no longer is pulling any data. It only allows me to select the folder and backdrop images. This started a few days ago, and on two separate machines. Anybody else running into this?

Check the individual items tab below the backdrop. My guess is that several of the items are deselected. I have had it happen to me before. This has probably been answered on the CT but never hurts to reply and I still need to register on the CT.

So you say that all options have a checkmark and you still don't get results if you do a "fetch movie metadata"?

Allthough not specifically answered, it's mentiond in this kb topic. It has a screenshot there aswell.

It will let me fetch the movie, select the movie out of the list, and show that there are posters and backdrops to view, but not fill in any data (no actors, synopsis, year, rating, etc.).

Let me also add that I have uninstalled and reinstalled on both machines with no luck. I have tried Media Center Master, and that program is working fine.

I have also made sure that I deleted the programdata metabrowser folder when reinstalling. Any ideas <><?

Edit: I have found that if I just right click and process the movie, it pulls all the data, wierd...

Are you saying you did get all the other information like production year and description, but not the artwork?
If so, that's the same way my Metabrowser behaves. You need to manually choose a poster and backdrop or do a process movie to automatically download the first one in the list.

As far as I know that is default behaviour.

Make sure "Do not replace MetaData" is NOT checked.
