MediaInfo Provider not working

Postby pa3x » Fri Feb 12, 2010 11:49 pm

Hi,

i'm new here and sorry for my inconvenience, but don't know where to post this Q.
I had earlier version of MB installed on my W7 MC and everything was working fine.
After upgrade to newest one, loosed functionality of MediaInfo Provider. Before there was overlay showing media type, resolution, audio type, etc... Now there is only aspect ratio.

Can any1 help me to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah this is well and truely broken for me too since I updated my mediainfo to 1.0.3.0 last night. Now all movies are 4:3 with no other info shown at all HD or otherwise.

Well if thats not good enough reason for us to be able to configure our own mediainfo, I dont know what is. Hopefully there will be a fix, for those of you who use it.

I am more interested in knowing what was included in the new version that seemed to break it in the first place. It would also be nice to know how we could revert back. No one seems interested in an update completely breaking functionality.

Does anyone know which dev makes the plugin so we could ask directly?

Well two users have noticed so far. Not much noise about it otherwise. It would be nice to know if others have the issue or is it something specific with the two of us only?
