How did you all place the backdrop image in the initial startup page. I have used the configurator to point to my server folders but it does not have a image selection for the startup page. Looking for help.

I saved an image (backdrop.jpg) to the folder decribed above but did not work. I'm using the vanilla theme. Should I use another theme?

Place it in the folder where your .vf files are. Mine are here... "C/users/your_login_here/videos". If you drop the backdrop.jpg there, the default will be that image.

In the configuration of vanilla theme under display do you display background checked?

I did not have background checked in the vanilla view options but after being checked, the background image appeared.

fyi the background.jpg was saved to the programdata\startupfolder

Here's some I have been working on, red for the htpc and blue for the laptops .... kinda a cross between high tech and retro. These are compressed way way down to load onto the forum so they're really pixilated and the colors/patterns don't jump like they do in 1080p. I've been the head of mktg. at three software startups so as my mentor used to say " do you come up with this stuff on drugs or is it residual drugs!!!"
