i'm trying to use the vanilla theme at the strip mode, as seen in http://community.mediabrowser.tv/permal ... la-themein the last picture (the one with the transformers).
unfortunately, i can't get the details and synopsis showing, just the movie title bar (the title, genre, codec info).
what am i doing wrong?

You need to press the # button to activate the details popup.

some more questions: how do i make the media browser show actor images, studio images, and age rating?

The popup info box cannot be defaulted to on in Vanilla. You would have to post a feature request on the Community Tracker and get enough supporters for Throgmorton to consider adding the option. As for the other questions, the Knowledgebase will likely answer all of them.
