I'd love to use your program but ...

Hi Guys,

Great idea, but it's just too unstable - at least in my environment -- I've got a robust PC (4-core etc.) but perhaps my 800 movies are just too much for it.

The editor works on the first one or two titles, then gets scrambled and can't call up the right movie to load.

I'll try back later in the year -- sorry -- it will be smashing when you get it going.

800 movies are no problem at all. I've got over 600 movies and 20 TV Series with a plethora of episodes all strewn throughout my network on 5 different servers and it runs fine. In fact, with the newest release it is downright speedy to load, browse the collection, etc. Other people have a lot more movies then I do without issue. Perhaps if you want to post some specs, how you have it setup, etc. we can help.

Also, you can take a look a look at the Knowledge Base for some help/ideas if you want here.

@ulrick: I think this relates to Metabrowser, not Media Browser :)

I use Meta Browser for my collection with 1000+ DVD rips and an ever growing TV show collection. No problems.

Can you give more details as to what exactly happens and how you have your movies structured on your system?

Good point

Note the time of my post...I went to bed about 1:00am after working 17 hours yesterday and had to be to work at 6:00 this morning. Serves me right for logging in at all really!
