Next release of meta<browser/>

I will keep my fingers crossed for successful recovery!

Here is my list of new features:
1. Drag and drop support for posters and backdrops: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3778&p=26735#p26735
2. Better search and not renaming of all movie names to its original name. Only original name should be Chineese and local and sort names should be English by default: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3991&p=27998#p27998 and viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4211#p29560
3. More options for batch refreshing of all movies. For example it would be great to select only required fields (like rating and description) to be refreshed (with the options: refresh all, refresh all but don't delete if source is missing, add only missing data)
4. Add option to prevent deleting data during resfresh all. It happens when you insert eg. description in MB and after that refresh data and the description is missing in themdb. Currently you have 2 choices: refresh all, add only missing.

Currently there are only 2 groups in the navigation pane. movies and series.
I would very much like to have the ability to create more of these groups.

For example i now have my documentaries and series mixed up.
If in the options dialog the implemenation of these groups can be similar to the way mediabrowser has it, this would be great.
so having input fields for a "virtual folder" that can contain multiple locations.

VF Series
- path 1
- path 2

VF Documentaries
- path 1
- path 2

this would also apply to verious movie folders.

in addition to this it would be great to have multiple dropbox folders for each virtual folder.
That way files moved to the documentaries dropbox would be pushed to the correct destination path

make the folder window resizeable so blu-ray covers don't look so squished.

Request from: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1617&hilit=anime&start=30#p24462
Lirad wrote:It is very common for Anime to show "specials" (not like Season 0 specials) that are actually just two episodes glued together, they are aired this way, and not released separately by the subbing groups. It really is just two episodes in one, with no credits at the end of the first episode or intro to the second, they just flow together. For example: [Taka]_Naruto_Shippuuden_119-120_[720p][38868899].mp4.

I have seen this happen on many other shows as well, especially if it is a two hour premiere or end of season - for example, Star Trek:TNG had a glued together first episode: [1x01-02] Encounter At Farpoint.avi.

I have just been assigning them manually to the first of the two episodes, unfortunately it leads to what looks like a gap in the episode lists and I don't get any plot summaries for the second half. Not the end of the world, but it would be cool if there was a way to handle it as a "merged" episode or something that would combine the synopsis of each "part" of the episode and show as "3-4 - name of episode 3" or something.

Another oddity is that any of my Anime files named as above will be recognized as (in the 119-120 example) absolute 120 - even though the first absolute shown is 119 - it almost seems like the numbers are being read in reverse order, or that the '-' right after 119 messes it up or something.

May I throw in my wish to have Windows 7 WTV support.

I loved the dropbox sorting my DVR-MS files into the right folder ....

How about implementing a filter when you fetch movie metadata so that I can retain the original name of the movie release such as Movie.Name.720p.BluRay.x264-SomeGrp and automatically get the correct name for the movie? In the example above I would like to add the filter "720p" and then ignore the rest over the folder name and do a search on just "Movie Name" (no dots).

Sorry if this is out of line, but have you considered opening the source?

If this was mentioned already I apologize, I admit I didn't read the thread fully! Also, if this is currently possible, I must be missing it.

That being said, I'd like the ability to specify the order of a tv show. A good example is Firefly. The air order and the dvd/blu ray order are different, because it was aired out of order. Thetvdb.com has both orders. Is there a way to specify which to use? Another excellent example is The Prisoner from 1967.

I guess if we can't do that, is there a way we can flag a tv show/series whatever to download all information EXCEPT renaming? Or to download the information based on name and not episode number? I learned the hard way when I put The Prisoner into a folder and metabrowser renamed everything to the wrong episodes (air order, they were in dvd order).
