My advice for the loyal users? If MediaScout doesn't do what you want it to, use Meta<Browser />. If that doesn't do what you want it to, learn C#/.NET, and continue on from my work (Or pay me lots of money so I have any motivation to work on this)
MediaScout does everything I want it to do, so I probably won't be pushing out any more updates until the API changes and it breaks for me.
FreQi or Soultaker (maybe) may push out updates (or any of the other "team")

I imagine it's a real pain to update and support a program like that and make it available for free, however there is no need to be bitter. Try to remember that many people are not as skilled with computers as you are. This stuff doesn't come so easy to some of us.
