Remember folder view

Hi,

It seems that Media Browser already remembers the selected folder view (poster, cover flow, details, ...) but only for the top 2 folders. Everything lower will use the folder view from the 2nd folder.

With TV series it would be nice to be able to put the root in poster view (with banners enabled), then the next folder in cover flow (cause there aren't that many seasons), and then in the season folder the details view.

Also, maybe replicate these folder views across all folders in the same "root" folder (the one you set up with the configuration wizard).

Did you change the syncview option in the mediabrowser.xml file? Change it to false and you shouldn't have this problem.

It's in "C:\ProgramData\MediaBrowser" under the "MediaBrowserXml.config" file. Open it with notepad or wordpad.

Look for this line: "<EnableSyncViews>false</EnableSyncViews>" near the bottom.

For some reason this isn't in the configuration program so you have to do it this way. Change it to false (default is true), and you should be good.

Couldn't something as simple as this be added to the config program for people, like myself, who don't want to edit .xml files in fear of screwing them?
