Transcode problem

I have version 2.0.4.0 installed and are not succesful using the transcode 360 option.
My xbox only replies that it cant transcode file??
What am i doing wrong? do i need any other software installed?
Im trying to play mkv, xvid and dvd (harddisk) files.
Wmv files work, as default i guess because its a microsoft file format.

This is a great app, keep up the good work!
I only have a few issues with tv pack and the transcode problem.

I answer some of my questions myself :)
I guess that the "transcoder360" app must be installed.
After the Transcoder installation some of the dvd files actually works.
But the mkv files is pretty useless to watch, its choppy and the audio delay is about 2 secs.
My original xbox actually displays the mkv movies better (but they are also unwatchable)
I havent found anyone who could say that mkv plays fine om xbox360 so i guess the only thing that makes it playable is to convert it to Wmv.
If anyone has managed to transcode mkv files please let me now, otherwise i must build another htpc to be used as mediacenter instead of my 360, or convert all my mkv files to wmv.

Mediabrowser is still the best plugin to vmc so far.
