Ya ssuns icons because they are not standard size they look bad in the html
the created image is the right size just squashed in the html because i hardcoded the image size for neatness
unfortunately i cant do much about the artifacts one of the drawback when converting png to jpg

lappen
ok sorry for the delay
i finally got to look at your files (had to fight with win7 to make it work how i wanted)

Band of brothers - xml issue if you open the file (ep3) you will notice that it is all on one line unfortunately the find or findstr command will return the line that has the string in it (no other way to do it or I would) so the problem is it is returning the whole line thus the garbled info
on a side note the <Overview> tag on your xml is spread over 3 lines again it will only return one line (the first) eg ep1 reads
"<Overview>July 1942 - 5th June 1944"
thus the description will only read "July 1942 - 5th June 1944"

pixar short films
the missing ep images are because the ep img is in a non metabrowser standard it is "episodes/81251-377541.jpg" where it is usually "episodes/81251/377541.jpg"
if you redownload the metadata and it is the same i will recode to suit

planet earth has both of the problems listed above eg ep 10 all on one line and ep images in non standard format and overview tag spread over 3 lines

Everything solved by redownloading metadata.

Episode images issue solved by redownloading metadata, broken url not solved. Where do I input the localtitle stuff as it doesn't seem to exist in the m2webtv batch file?
url 01_-_The_Adventures_of_Andr‚_and_Wally_B.html / created page 01_-_The_Adventures_of_André_and_Wally_B

planet earth has both of the problems listed above eg ep 10 all on one line and ep images in non standard format and overview tag spread over 3 lines

Really strange though as I've used meta browser to download the metadata in the first place.
Thanks

ya sometime if the xml has been opened by another program it can affect the formatting (which is what we are relying on the get the data)

set httitle=!epix: =_!

change to

set httitle=!epix: =_!& set httitle=!httitle:é=e!

should set you right (add any exceptions to the httitle as that is what the html page and the image name is generated from)

pretty sure that will do it just had a quick look if it doesnt let me know i will look harder

é=e didn't work. ,=e did the trick working fine now just some polish which I really don't care if it's as it works fine now :)

The url is displayed as 01 - The Adventures of Andr‚ and Wally B on the season page
The page is named 01_-_The_Adventures_of_Andre_and_Wally_B.html
The title on the episode page is Title: The Adventures of André and Wally B.

Thank you

Hi

I have read through all the pages and have got the solution for Æ, Ø, Å and other "special" signs
But:

If the movie name is Dunderklumpen! or Horton Hears a Who! , the script just stops... And then I can press any key to get it going again. But on the web page afterwards the movie is not there. There is no picture at all and it seems to "think" it the movie prior on the list.... (if I rename the movie to not using the ! in the name, all is fine)

Is there any solution for this?

Anyway: Great script :)

Thanks,
Dolfren

where does the ! appear in the file name of your movie? or in the mymovies.xml

all the movie files names (in the html) is generated from the <sorttitle> in the xml

Hi

It is the folder name which is named "Dunderklumpen! (1974)" or "Horton Hears a Who! (2008) ".

So if I rename the folder (not anything else like xml) the script works fine.

I had several more movies with ! in it, and all fails, but they work when they are renamed

So since the Media Browser also gets the name of the movie from the xml, it is not a biggie, but will eventually come "up" from time to time if I forget to rename a new movie....

problem is that in the batch file a variable is defined by !variable! so it is seeing you folders as a variable (half a variable) there is nothing i can do about it unfortunatly the only option is to change the folder/filename so it doesnt have a ! in it
