This thread initially started out as the source idea for the structure we now all know and love, hopefully. Well this project has blown up, and more and more are icons/images are being supported and added everyday.

We need better studio icons, the difference in qualities in the studio folder are unreal. I need to add a Rating folder in hopes that we can have the themes point to this folder and we can use our own icon sets for MPAA and TV-? ratings. Also I think this would help with non-US users who want to use a different rating system. They could technically leave the folder as the US standard and then drop an image inside of here for their countries equal rating. Just some thoughts, either way I'm no graphic artist, I need help with this project. Any takers?

Also we need some info from the theme developers? What size info should we building our icons around for each category? Studio - once again I have some that are just to dang tiny and others that are way to big, STUDIO CANAL... lol maybe its not to big but its inconsistent and as we move towards firestorms release, to me its all about cleaning up the presentation for all the users at this point.

We need studio size recommendations? Same for all the other categories I believe, if we want this to look like a complete product for all new users having some kinda standards around this folder would only help I think.

Well from the image packs I've seen most people are still using alot of the images I had put in when the studio icons were imbedded in the source, and my photoshop skills aren't all that great, so I understand why some are not as good as other's and I sometimes left alot of space and didn't trim the image properly (I've been fixing some of them from time to time to make them look much better). Anyways to answer your question with regards to size, at least for vanilla the space alotted as it stands now at 40 pixels high and no restriction on length. This is why Studio Canal which is much longer than high looks bigger than studio icons which are squarish or tall and narrow.

Now this could change for different theme so if Diamond uses a height size of 100 you wouldn't necessarily want all your icons at 40 high, anways food for thought.

I'm updating the zip file right now, I have included a Rating folder with all the rating images that are used under the default theme in media browser. I think I choose thorgs UNRATED icon for this initial collection. Once again thinking this would be so much easier to change the folder.jpg for people wanting to change the ratings icons.

No problem. Right now, I'm tackling studios manually as I clean up my studio metadata, nothing bugs me more then seeing three different WB icons on one movie because of all the sub division studios, cleaning them up to show the studios that matter. I'm getting images for studios I'm missing as I go along, I will try to resize and adjust to the best of my ability but hopefully once we have the collection then all these graphic geniuses on here can tweak them for us. ;)

Good thing your tackling this and not me :)
I have some extra time today, and plan on doing earlier year icon and icon backdrops, years that are before 1950.
so you can include those as well.
