Windows 7 Start Menu Icon

Postby Dudley » Sat Oct 24, 2009 7:46 pm

Never really been a huge fan of the mb icon on the start menu and i generally like windows looking icons especially on the front page, I got this png from another media browsing application so it's not perfect.

In my attached png I just swapped over the existing movie cover on the icon to an indiana jones one, pretty much a copy and paste with a little opacity over the new cover.

Just need to drop the 2 pngs into "c:\program files\mediabrowser" and overwrite the existing 2.

edit - make sure the they are both named correctly, Application.png and ApplicationInactive.png
win7 x64 - i5 - 4gb - MB content stored over wired lan

I was using this with no issue untill Thunderblade. Now I can't seem to get them back. Did something change?

I think my allergies are taking over my head :( I got the initial icon back :D FYI. To get the cool covers from the plugin I had to delete the cache. I noticed only my 2 newest that I added were showing bluray. As soon as I deleted the cache and went back in they were all there. I hate having a stuffy head. I can't think straight. Great job on the new release guys.
