I didn't realise you were going to put all of my stuff into dropbox like you did - that's absolutely amazing (must have took you a while). Thank you so much for that. You obviously do have to much spare time :) oh, and the pack seems to be complete to me.

Yea the hard part was a few things first I had to deal with rapedshare, after the first two DL's I had to what 15min in between dl's for every damn file!
Then to create the gallery I had to sit down and copy the folder name paste it to the file name then cut file backup paste file then delete folder OVER & OVER again for every damn one of your icons!
I mean you didn't make it easy on me!

But it was worth it,
You have a grate collection and Like I said it wasn't easy to get it all so I just wanted to help change that.

O yea will you go back me up here please!
He is being hard head! I have tried to tell him 2 times now and he is still using services like megaupload.
Again making it a pain to dl' his work. I think he need's a little encouragement.

Hey,

I dont tend to join every forum i run through but this has actually reallly caught me! first off, mediabrowser rocks and so as all the graphics around here!

I have been setting up my media center for a over a week now and im just reaching last tweaking stages, i actually read through most of the threads around here but i couldnt find any clue regarding one issue im having.

Anyway, i was wondering how to customize the root page of mediabrowser without the "Recently Added" feature but to make it actually shows a list of icons to your choice just like Olywa's screenshot shows

I looked through the config in mediabrowser and i noticed that there was a "Enchanced Home Screen" option under "Display". Ticking on that, only shows a list of the folder names but the image it self seemed to disappear.

I tried deleting the vf in the options and readding them under the feature disabled but it did not seem to work, maybe im off the track here but i can't see how to make this work

any help would be greatly appreciated!

All you should need to do is remove the root page setting in the config tool. Then add a backdrop of your liking to the C:\ProgramData\MediaBrowser\Startup Folder\backdrop.jpg

In the config tool you can highlight your you Movie folders on the left then go to the right and click (Add Image) set the icon you want to see for that folder on the root page, then set your view to (Poster View). And I think that will give you what your looking for.

I'm not sure how you remove the root page settings, in config? the only thing i can see my mediacollections / podcasts and plug-ins - in advnace i also cant seem to find it :?

This is exactly what i did but this is what i get:



I already chose the graphics but they dont show. However, if EHS is checked they do show. Like i said, i tried readding them but with no success.

P.S i see there is a new version of mediabrowser available? :)

OK go to the MB ProgramData folder and delete the cache and image cache and see if that wont fix it.

And no, that you see from me is an SVN build compiled by me. The new release should be near the end of October.
